Fred D. Morgan, born April 9, 1936, passed away on October 1, 2015.

Fred was born to Henry and Clara Morgan, the youngest child of 9. He was raised in the small town of Fairburn, SD.

Fred worked most of his life at the South Dakota Cement Plant in Rapid City, SD, as a crusher operator. He loved working with his hands and building things.

Fred was preceded in death by his eldest son, Freddy D. Morgan. He was loved by his family and his friends. His legacy lives on in his children, Sarah Harwood and Danny Morgan, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be missed, our father, grandfather, and our friend, but will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

We ask you to join us in honoring Fred D. Morgan's memory. Funeral services will be held at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD, on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery with full military honors.
