Obituary

Garland Leroy Foster, 80, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Fort Meade VA Hospital in Ft. Meade, SD.

Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2009 from noon until 8:00 pm at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ralph Vencill officiating. Burial will be on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 1:30 pm at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

Garland Leroy Foster was born January 31, 1929, to Fay and Gertrude (Cassel) Foster at Belle Fourche, SD. He enjoyed watching western movies, fishing and rodeos. Garland loved to tell old stories to his friends and family. Garland was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Belle Fourche. He was a heavy duty mechanic and over the road trucker in South Dakota and Wyoming for a number of yeras,

Garland is survived by two sons Ralph of Gillette, WY, and Eddie of Sacramento, California; two daughters Cheryl Foster of Torrington, WY, and Arlinda Ozona of Austin, Minn.; three brothers Gary Storm, Joe Storm and Leon Storm; and a special close friends Mike and Effie Carney of Sturgis.
