Garnet Jean Green was born on November 21, 1930 to Gustav and Olina Grotrud in Yankton, SD. Garnet married Delmar Green on November 23, 1950. In 1968 they moved their family to AZ. She loved gardening and her flowers and plants flourished under her tender care. Garnet loved all living things and would refuse to even kill a spider.

Garnet passed into heaven on February 21, 2015 at her daughter's home in Gilbert, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar, her parents, and twin brothers, Leroy and Vernon. She is survived by her 4 children: David (Shari) Green, Gail (Hal) Richardson, Joann Green, and Owen (Gloria) Green, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD.

Burial will follow at the Whitewood Cemetery, Whitewood, SD.
