Gary Lee Engfer, 79, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his home in Box Elder.

Gary was born in Ada, Minnesota on June 10, 1942 to Albert and Delores (Schultz) Engfer.  He married Alva Dorlena Green on May 21, 1983 in Moon, South Dakota.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorlena Engfer; sons, John Engfer, Michael Engfer, and Mike Hill; daughters, Yvonne Arterburn, Lacinda Rietveild, and Danna Johnson; brothers, Rodney (Liz) Engfer and Scott (Deb) Engfer; sister, Joyce (Bill) Ashley; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Delores; sons, Steven Hill and David Hill; and grandsons, Cody Engfer and Jeried Hill.

No services will be held at this time.
