Gerald E. Rogers, 85, Hot Springs, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Gerald Edwin Rogers served during WWII with the U. S. Army from 20 July 1942, until 13 October 1945. He retired from working on the railroad.

Committal services, with military honors by Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Friends may gather at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis before leaving for the cemetery.
