Gladys Selma Grace Gimble, 83, Sturgis, died at her home on Sunday, March 7, 2010.

She was born April 1, 1926, to Oscar and Wanda (Koeppel) Meisenholder at Sioux Falls, SD. She graduated from Washington High School in 1944.

Gladys wed Richard Carl Gimble at Luverne, MN, on October 10, 1946. They worked and resided in Sioux Falls until 2003, when they moved to Sturgis.

Gladys enjoyed playing cards, and crafting with friends in Sioux Falls and knitting and crocheting afghans for her family. She loved gardening and caring for her many house plants. Her family was always eager for her jams and jellies.

She enjoyed visiting her scattered grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gladys was a thrift store junkie. She always found treasures.

She is deeply loved and missed by her children, Eunice Kay Larson, Crystal. MN, Nancy (Tom) Little, Sturgis, Marilyn Gorman, Jacksonville, FL, David Gimble, Sturgis, and Steve (Annie) Gimble, Columbia Heights, MN; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
