Gregg Allen Kirkpatrick, 62, passed away May 5, 2018 at his home in Rapid City.

He was born on January 13, 1956 to Roy and Lucille Kirkpatrick in Chadron, Nebraska.  He attended school in Chadron and graduated from high school in 1974.  He joined the US Army right after high school and proudly served from 1974 to 1977.

Gregg was an active member and volunteer of the VFW and the American Legion.  He will be deeply missed by his family and numerous others close to him.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Parks; and his brothers, Calvin Kirkpatrick and David Kirkpatrick.

Gregg was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lucille Kirkpatrick; and brother, Gary Kirkpatrick.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at Black Hills National Cemetery.
