Harlan Hanson beloved husband, uncle, brother, and friend passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, after a long illness.
He was born in eastern South Dakota to Henry and Julia Hanson. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a farmer, Construction worker, Truck Driver, and an Alaska State Trooper. Mainly he was the love of his wife, Holly's life for over 23 years. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and his smile.
He is survived by his wife for over 21 years, Holly; his brother, Gerald, along with his nieces and nephews; his son, Shanen; and four grandchildren.
He will be cremated and his ashes will be interred at Black Hills National Cemetery. Per his wishes there will be no service.
