Hazel Adeline Dahlquist, 90, New Castle, Wyo., died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital.

Services were already held in New Castle.

Hazel was born September 1, 1915, at Belfield, N.D., to Alonzo Benjamin and Adeline (Trask) Sisley.

Hazel's heritage goes back to early start of our country. The Trask family is from the old Massachusetts colony of the 1630s and the Sisley family came in the 100 years after that time to the Mid Atlantic states.

Hazel grew up in North Dakota and the family moved to the Black Hills area in 1929. Hazel was quite the horse lady and she was very creative with drawing and painting.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Dahlquist, New Castle, Wyo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, two brothers, and one sister.
