She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wesley. She is survived by one sister, Albia and Harry Whitehead, Hot Springs, SD and numerous nieces and nephews who are grateful to have been part of her life. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, Hot Springs, SD with Fr. Claude Vershure officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Black Hills Funeral Home, Sturgis, SD. She will be laid to rest at a later date beside her husband at Black Hills National Cemetery.
