Vale - Helen F. Adams, 87 of Vale, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Belle Fourche Healthcare Center. Survivors include two sons, Danny (Hazel) Adams, Spearfish, and Rick (Carolyn) Adams, Vale; two sisters, Betty (Ken) Darrach, Sturgis, and Connie (Gary) Whitacher, Pierre; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Adams; one daughter, Beverly Gloppen; two sons, Robert and Terry Adams; her parents, Henry and Lula (Gottman) Ulrich; two sisters, Ella and Vivian; three brothers, Fred, Jack, and Henry Ulrich; one nephew, and one niece. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, with a visitation one hour prior at the Sturgis Wesleyan Church with Rev. Roger Monson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis. A Memorial has been established to the Vale Centennial Park in Vale, SD.
