Rapid City, SD - Henry Howe, 91 of Rapid City, died Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ft. Meade, SD. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1942 to 1945. Survivors include his wife, Liliane Howe, Rapid City; two sons, Steven (Anna) Howe, Jacksonville, FL and Michael (Michele) Howe, Rapid City; two daughters, Stella (Stu) Korpela, Miami, FL and Barbara (William) Lester, Chicago, IL; two step daughters, Caroline Jones, Denver, CO and Eveline (Rex) Shoun, Sturgis, SD; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ida Howe. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Black Hills National Cemetery with Chaplain (Ret.) Herbert B. Cleveland officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Sturgis Veteran's Honor Guard and the South Dakota Army National Guard.
