Obituary

Mr. Hollis M. DewBerry, 78, of Newnan passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Piedmont Henry Hospital. He was born November 20, 1935 in Newnan to the late Clarence T. DewBerry & Lura V. Fambro DewBerry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Constance Marie Warren DewBerry. Mr. DewBerry grew up in Newnan before joining the Navy for four years and later serving in the U.S. Air Force for 17 years. He was longtime, active member of the Newnan Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon. The funeral is Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Newnan Presbyterian Church, 38 Greenville St, Newnan with Dr. Harry Barrow officiating. The visitation is Friday evening between 6:00-8:00 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan. Burial will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 2 at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota. Rather than flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either Can't Never Could, Inc., 10 Sherwood Dr, Newnan, GA 30263 or to Newnan Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1107, Newnan, GA 30264. Survivors include children, Hollie (Mark) Pfleger, Robert (Nancy) DewBerry, Heidi (Tommy) Worthey, Christi (Rob) Estes, Ashley (Matt) Horne; sister, Hellon (Robert) Barrett; grandchildren, Kellan Pfleger, Coy Pfleger, Sierra DewBerry, Chase Worthey, Brian Worthey, Nathan Worthey, Matthew Worthey, Robert Estes, Jr., Sara Ashley Estes, Macy Horne, and Jackson Horne.
