Howard Keith Dinnell, 81, Sturgis, died Saturday, September 9, 2011, at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center.

Graveside committal services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery with Pastor Jenene Earl officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Sturgis Veteran's Honor Guard. Family and friends may gather at Kinkade Funeral Chapel prior to leaving for the cemetery.

Howard was born August 21, 1930, in Ainsworth, NE, to Harold and Nellie (Ferguson) Dinnell. He was a baker and belonged to the Baker's Union.

He leaves to mourn his closest friend and companion of 12 years, Edee Weber, Sturgis, and her children; his four children; one brother; and one sister.
