Irene Knapp, 92, of Rapid City, SD, passed into the loving arms of her lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on the morning of April 8th, 2023.

Irene was born May 18th, 1930, to John and Margaretha (Weller) Heiser.

Irene was a fun-loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be dearly missed and remembered with joy and laughter. Graced with a friendly nature, a hardworking spirit, and the spunk and common sense to keep her going through life's trials, she was a joy to be around. She loved to laugh and make others laugh and could always be counted on to brighten your day.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Knapp, 12 of her 13 brothers and sisters, and her parents, Margaretha and John Heiser.

She is survived by her son, Shawn (Stacy) Knapp; her daughter, Tanya (Tim) Knapp-Schuh; 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
