Irene was born March 28, 1919, in Walhalla, ND, to Albert and Pearl (Haist) Morin. She attended 12 years of school in Walhalla and one year of Business College in Grand Forks, ND. Irene married S. J. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Sturgis Hospital Auxiliary. Mom enjoyed her grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and their many visits.
