Obituary

Gillette, WY - Irvin Leland Sieg Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 21, 2012 at Close to Home Hospice in Gillette. Irvin was born September 25, 1929 in Revere, ND to Magna Fiflet and Carl Sieg. He grew up around Hot Springs, SD and graduated from Hot Springs High School. He then lived and worked in Custer, SD He became a member of the National Guard. He was later married in Newcastle to Nadine Jones on August 10, 1955. They moved to Gillette in1962 to work for Boyd's Market and IGA Food Store until 1994. Irvine was active in many sports including basketball, softball league, bowling league and horseshoe pitching. He also enjoyed hunting in the Black Hills of SD. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. Irvine and Nadine enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas, NV, Windover, NV, and Deadwood, SD. They spent many summers at the Hart Ranch near Rapid City. Irvin is survived by his wife, Nadine Sieg of Gillette; daughter, Lisa (Jim) Alexander, Gillette; three grandsons, Zachary, Austin, and Lucas Alexander, Gillette; 2 sisters, Charmain Pangburn, Kalispell, Mt; Marlene Hitchcock, San Antonio, TX; brother, Ralph Sieg, Hot Springs, SD. Memorial services will be at Grace Bible Church, 4000 Collins E. Rd, Gillette, WY, at 1:00 pm on March 19, 2012, with Pastor Daryl Hilbert officiating.
