Jack Zacher was born on February 2, 1950, in Pierre, SD to Anton "Tony" Nick Zacher and Christina Frankfurth.

Jack served his country in Vietnam from 1968-1970. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors.

Jack Wayne Zacher, 69, of Sturgis, SD, died on Sunday, December 8, 2019, after his battle with cancer.

He is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Shari (Chad) Ketcham and Mica (Walter) Bataille; grandchildren, Max and Gabriela Bataille; son, Shaun Hansey; 3 brothers, Ron, Don, and Jim Zacher; and his sister, Beverly Keffler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Zacher, and his mother, Christina Frankfurth.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2019, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis. Committal with military honors will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery.
