Jackie Jean Richards was born on June 9, 1935 in Corona, NM to parents John and Lucille (Wyndham) Adams. She graduated from high school in Amity, OR in 1953.
Jackie met Kenneth Richards, and they were married in the 70s. Jackie was a bookkeeper most of her life before retiring. Her favorite things to do were crocheting afghans for family members, and taking trips to second-hand stores. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Jackie passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Rolling Hills Healthcare in Belle Fourche.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille; and a son, Mike Smeltzer.
She leaves behind her husband, Kenneth Richards of Spearfish, SD; children, Marti (Neil) Newlander of Belle Fourche, SD, Jaime Richards of Oregon City, OR, Lori (Martin) Ziebart of Moses Lake, WA; and step-son, Terry (Nan) Richards of Colorado Springs, CO; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Jackie will be held at a later date.
