Jacquelyn (Jacqi) Kathe Renate Barth, 34, of Piedmont, South Dakota, passed away in her sleep on February 11, 2022.

Jacqi was raised by her grandparents, Jackie and Renate James, in Piedmont, SD. She graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 2006. Jacqi lived in California and North Carolina until returning to Piedmont to be with friends and family. Her proudest moment was the birth of her only child Josefine (Josi) in 2012, who she affectionately called "bean" or "bug." Jacqi and Josi shared a love for animals which included cats, dogs, geese, and reptiles. Jacqi's dog, Marley, was a companion for over 14 years.

A small memorial service will be at the Grace United Methodist Church in Piedmont from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on February 19, 2022. A celebration of life will be held this summer for friends and family to gather and share stories in Jacqi's favorite season.

Jacqi was preceded in death by her grandmother, Renate James; her father, Michael Barth, and her mother, Josefine Barth.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Josi Woidt, and her brothers, Michael (Kati) Barth and Kristofer (Keri) James.
