James Louis Dickinson left us on the wings of the white eagle, on August 11, 2014. James was born September 1, 1931 to Edward and Hazel Dickinson, in Rapid City, South Dakota. He grew up in the 30's and 40's, taking care of four kid sisters. He worked at Buckingham and Barber Transportation in Rapid City, finally retiring from Barber's. James was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Rada, from Murdo, South Dakota and one son, Stacy Dickinson. James' family can never thank everyone at Ft. Meade VA enough. These people are our true heroes. Upon request, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation to find a cure. Soar, white eagle, soar.
