Janelle Cora Forrest, 54, entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2014 in South Dakota.

She was born October 27, 1959 in Poplar, Montana, the daughter of Bedford Patrick Forrest and Beatrice June Escarcega. She was raised by her adoptive parents, Howard and Ruby Carter.

Janelle was a graduate of Washburn Rural High school. She later attended Washburn University. She was an administrative assistant for Prairie Band Potawatomie Nation. At the time of her passing she was retired. Janelle in her spare time loved attending POW-WOWs, scrapbooking, traveling and was a good seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bedford Patrick Forrest and Beatrice June Escarcega and her adoptive parents, Howard and Ruby Carter.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Arnold, and her daughter, Kelli Arnold, both of Austin, Texas; sisters, Jane Warren, Jenni Forrest, Jessie Mabrey and Edna Forrest; brothers, Keith Forrest and Begar Radmoski; one grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Janelle was loved by all and will be missed by all. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Bowser-Johnson Funeral Chapel.
