Janelle Elaine Karol, 49, of Whitewood, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at her residence in Whitewood.

A rosary will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 9, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Arnold Kari officiating. Burial will follow at the Whitewood Cemetery.

Janelle was born May 10, 1957, in Cavalier, N.D., to Lloyd and Elaine (Cote) Meagher. She graduated from high school in Pembina, N.D. She married Clair Karol in Pembina on Sept. 2, 1977.

She enjoyed her in-home business, Melaleuca, and loved spreading the word about natural products. She spent 15 years researching this business and the natural products she sold.

Janelle loved nature and any gifts from God. Her hobbies included photography, motorcycle riding with her husband, spending time outdoors, walking, camping and she enjoyed meeting new people.

She was very faithful, loving, and giving. Janelle loved helping others. She was a very selfless person that wanted to give and help others. Her prayers were always with anyone in need. She never wanted anyone to worry about her and her illness. Janelle was always a happy and patient woman. She was truly an angel from God. She touched everyone in her life.

She is survived by her husband, Clair Karol, Whitewood; her children, Marcie (Johnny) Murphy and their children, Willow and Violet, Ft. Worth, Texas, Tonya (Norm) Newsome and their children, Tru and Joy, Casper, Wyo., Johnathan Karol, San Diego, Calif., and Shawn (Stacy) Karol, Gillette, Wyo.; her mother, Elaine Meagher, Pembina, N.D.; three brothers, Kerry Meagher, Savage, Minn., Steve Meagher, Sidney, Mont., and Allan Meagher, Pembina, N.D.; and two sisters, Lori Kearns, North Dakota, and Bonnie McGauvran, Pembina, N.D.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Randy Meagher.

A memorial has been established.
