Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Jo Furrow-Glass, a truly sweet and loving woman, who passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 at the age of 73 in Rapid City, SD.

Janice was born to Robert and Henrietta Furrow in Morgantown, WV on April 17, 1951.  She proudly served in the United States Navy, receiving her honorable discharge in August of 1973.

She will be remembered by her friends of Spearfish and the Crossroads Assembly of God church of Sturgis for her kindness, warmth, gentle spirit, and above all, her boundless generosity. Despite a life of struggle, she leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Janice is survived by her husband Greg; her sons, Erin (Nicky) Lenth and Jonathan (Alicia) Clark; her six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She joins her parents; brother, Brian Furrow, and an unborn son, Jason, in the loving arms of her Lord and savior.

Visitation will be Monday, April 7, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Crossroads Assembly of God, Sturgis, SD. Funeral services will be at the church on Tuesday, April 8, 1:00 p.m. Graveside services, with military honors, will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.
