Jarvis J. Follette left his worldly home on July 16, 2024, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospice House.

Jarvis was born on September 13, 1941, to George and Mildred Follette in Castroville, TX. Jarvis dedicated his life to caring for the land and animals that lived upon it. He was also a devoted husband, dedicated father and doting grandfather. His family will greatly miss him but are relieved he is no longer struggling with Vascular Dementia. He now is in the presence of the good shepherd and knows that Psalms 23 is true.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years and the love of his life: Janet, (Rapid City); daughter: Ronda (John) Kreber, (Blackhawk); son: Todd (Brockie) Follette, (Haviland, KS); daughter: Tracee (Ron) Limb, (Nashville, TN); sister: Iretha Bliss, (Cheyenne, WY); 9 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred Follette, daughter-in-law, Denita Follette, and grandson, Matthew Kreber.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Thursday, July 18th at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Jarvis will be at 2:00 PM, on Friday, July 19, also at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Major Jerry O'Neil officiating. Burial will be at the Vale Cemetery.
