Jason William Bruce was born April 6, 1979, in Greeley, CO, to John and Susan Bruce. As a child, Jason's family moved around a lot. During his high school years, his family moved to Denton, TX, where he graduated from high school. He also met his future wife, Brandy, and they were married in 2003. They had three children. Jason loved his family very much. Jason worked in the IT field for several years.

Jason, 38, died suddenly July 26, 2017, in Seattle, WA.

Jason is survived by his wife, Brandy Bruce, and his three children, Emmalee Bruce, Christopher Bruce, and Benjamin Bruce, all of Puyallup, WA; his parents, Susan Bruce, Sturgis, SD, and John Bruce, Houston, TX; his brother, Seth (Annie) Bruce; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial graveside rites will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.
