Jean Elizabeth Olson, 86, Sturgis, died Wednesday December 24, 2014 at the Sturgis Regional Senior Care Center.

Jean was born June 7, 1928 at Cavalier, ND, to Osgeir and Elizabeth (Haldarson) Sturlaugson; the youngest of seven siblings.

She met her first husband, Cliff Dahl, in Fargo, ND, while attending secretarial school. She worked at the Fargo, Veterans Administration Hospital in admitting until she retired.

Jean had two children, Morris Dahl of Hewitt, MN, and Janis Anderson of Sturgis, SD.

Jean lived at Heritage Acres in Sturgis prior to living with her daughter, Janis.

She leaves behind two grandchildren; Drew and Jenna in Denver, CO and two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings and two husbands.
