Jeffrey (Jeff) Allen Beaird, 57, passed away on April 12, 2022, at Monument Health due to complications of heart failure.

He was born in Rapid City on June 16, 1964, to Buddy and Lu (Boehrs) Beaird. Jeff grew up in and around Rapid City, SD. He enjoyed camping and fishing at Deerfield Lake with his paternal grandparents and spent many times with his first cousins at the family "farm" north of Rapid City. Jeff attended Robbinsdale Elementary, South Junior High, and graduated from Rapid City Central in 1982. He enjoyed several sports during his early years: bowling, baseball, soccer, and basketball. He continued this love of sports into his adulthood playing in adult softball, hockey, and bowling leagues. He supported his boys in bowling, introduced them to numerous sports, such as go-cart racing, and hockey. His love of fishing never waned, he had plans of getting out of the hospital and going fishing with his friends.

Jeff was a Jack-of-all-trades and had various employments during his life. He even tried owning his own business a few times.

Jeff married Carol Richards on August 27, 1988. This marriage was blessed with two boys: Dustin Allen Beaird (1990) and Aaron Allen Beaird (1995).

Jeff is survived by his mother, Lu; his sister, Sally Heberlein (Tom); his boys, Cody C. Barkley (Amanda), Dustin (Brittany), and Aaron (Katherine Neyhart). He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, a niece, a nephew, great nieces, a great nephew, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and numerous friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Buddy Gerald Beaird; his grandparents, John and Christine (Heinrich) Beaird, Ernest and Gladys (Darling) Boehrs; numerous uncles, an aunt and a cousin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the Robbinsdale Bowling Alley in Rapid City, SD, from 1pm-3pm.
