Jerome was born, February 7, 1994, at Sumter Shaw AFB, SC, to Jerome Kindell and Carla Valmont. Jerome graduated from Woodside High School in Virginia. He spent time playing football, basketball, working out, reading, and playing PlayStation. Jerome liked to cook, adding his own spin to recipes, and especially loved his grandma's sweet potato pie and ice cream, and his mom's curried chicken and Johnny cake. He liked to spend time with his family and friends, and loved to spend time with his son, playing outside and watching him grow. Gone too soon Jerome leaves a hole that will never be filled.
Jerome Terrell Kindell, 25, Sturgis, passed away, Friday, June 14, 2019, at his home in Sturgis.
Jerome is survived by his mother, Carla Valmont; father, Jerome Kindell; son, Jerome Kindell Jr. (Sturgis); fiancée, Mariah Ulrich, Sturgis; brothers, Rubyn Kindell, New Port News, VA, and Akira Leach, Florence, SC; sisters, Sumer Kindell, Brittney Kindell, and Tiara Kindell, Kingsland, GA; uncles, Tim Valmont, Al Valmont, and Micky Kindell; aunts, Arleatha Toland, Paula Tarver, Lena Valmont, and Natalie Valmont.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wallace Valmont; and cousin, Warren Kindell.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2019, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ozzy McDaniel officiating.
A memorial has been established for the Jerome Kindell Jr., college fund.
