Jess Ann Collier, 88 years passed away peacefully at her residence in Chino Valley, AZ with her family by her side, Feb. 21, 2015.

Parents: Roderick Cruickshank and Esther McGregor..

Siblings: sisters; J. and J., brother G. Cruickshank

Schooling: Sturgis High School graduating 3rd in her class in 1944

School activites: favorite classes; speech, science and home ec. member of Athletic Associataion, Pep Club Journalism, Debate, student council, cheerleading, vice president of her class and played music.

Spouse: James Maurice Collier, married in 1947

Children: daughter K. A. Collier (1952) and son; K. M. Collier (1955)

12 grandchildrean and 24 great-grandchildren

Places lived: family ranch at Glencoe, Ogden, UT, Hamilton, MT, Prescott, AZ and Chino Valley, AZ

Work history: secretarial work, head of the personnel section of the forest service, helped manage the food stand at Glencoe camp ground for the Sturgis bike rally, every summer, office manager of North Aire Flight School, and owned North Aire Flight School. Retiring at the age of 80.

Hobbies and activities: Flying planes (she got her pilots license), fly fishing, and gardening.

Services for Jess Ann were held at Hampton Funeral home in Prescott, Arizona. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5th at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow on Friday, March 6th at Bear Butte Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends may gather at Kinkade Funeral Chapel prior to leaving for the cemetery.
