Joelane was born June 28, 1969, to Joel and Katheryn (Boose) Lindberg in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

Her interest were helping out and donating to numerous foundations and her passion was traveling around the world to experience as many cultures as she could.

Joelane graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor in Computer Programming in 1991. She also graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Master's in Computer Programming.

Joelane served 21 years with the U.S. Air Force as a Captain and was honorably discharged.

She was currently working at the Department of Affairs Veterans Administration Medical Center in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Joelane Elizabeth Lindberg, 48, of Sturgis died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Department of Affairs Fort Meade Medical Center at Fort Meade, SD.

Joelane is survived by her brother, Rob (Pam) Lindberg of Fort Knox, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Katheryn Lindberg.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Baer officiating. Interment will be at Black Hills National Cemetery with military honors near Sturgis.
