John Anthony Dadovich, 49, Sturgis, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1982 to 1998.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly Treloar, Flint, Mich.; grandmother Florence Slakta, Flint; one sister, Peggy Cuevas, Flint; and one brother, John Fairman, Apache Junction, Ariz.

Committal services with Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. A reception will follow at Sidehack Saloon in Sturgis.

Kinkade Funeral Chapel of Sturgis is in charge of arrangements.
