John Walls, 86, was born June 14, 1934, in Salinas, CA. He married Marlyn Evans in 1955, and enlisted in the Air Force in 1955, where he served as a B-52 Tail gunner and Instructor until 1976. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked as a Plant Operator at Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant in California. He retired and moved to Sturgis, SD, to be closer to family.
John Richard Walls, 86, of Sturgis died January 16, 2021, at Monument Health Sturgis hospital.
John is survived by his wife, Marlyn; son, Lance (Tina); daughter-in-law, Allison Walls; grandchildren, Danielle Ferguson, Morgan Walls, Rhyannon Yates, Reyna Walls, Bryan Trudel, David Walls: and 5 great-grandchildren. He was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Steven, Jeffrey, and Christopher.
