Jon H. Fair, 69, formerly of Elgin, Illinois passed away September 21, 2018 at home surrounded by his family, after a courageous five year battle with Parkinson Plus.

He was born June 1, 1949 in Elgin, Illinois, graduating from Larkin High School in 1967.

Jon is the beloved husband of Cheryl(nee Sullivan) for 46 years; loving father of Jennifer (Gary) Carpenter, Tiffany Snow and Joel Fair; dear grandpa of Wade, Crae, Alli, Kacy, Sagane, and Kelsey; great-grandpa to Jaxx; fond son of Barbara (Slaymaker) and the late Donald Fair; and caring brother of the late Lynn S Fair.

He was a gentle man who loved unconditionally, never judged and accepted us with all our faults.  Jon was a lifetime member of Architectural Iron Workers Local 63, Chicago and was an avid fisherman.

At his request there will be no visitation and interment will be private.
