Jonathan James Ladson, 16 months, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at his home in Spearfish.

The family of Jonathan gathered with friends for a celebration of his life Friday, July 20, at Herrmann Park in Belle Fourche.

Jonathan was born March 16, 2006, in Spearfish to Charlotte Marie Ladson.

Jonathan was a very happy baby that could make the grumpiest people smile. He was an independent boy who loved to play fetch with his dog and chase the cat. He was a good baby and loved his mom very much.

Survivors include his mother, Charlotte Ladson, Spearfish; grandmother, Audrey Ladson, St. Onge; grandfather, Ron Johnson, Keystone; aunts, Samantha Ladson, Sioux Falls, Collette Ladson, Wasilla, Alaska, and Amber Weber, Burwick, Maine; uncles, Pat Joynt, Black Hawk, and Shane
Ladson, Denver, Colo.; Granny Nickie, Keystone; and numerous friends.
