Joshua Michael Edlund, 44, passed away on June 27, 2024 in Lead, SD.

He was born on June 9th, 1980 in Deadwood, SD to Mike and Vicki (Murray) Edlund.  He attended Lead High School.

He loved music, writing, and performing.  He was in many bands throughout his life.  He loved nature and the outdoors.  He was a good friend to many.  We will miss him.

Josh is survived by his mother, Vicki Edlund; daughters, Fay Edlund and Lennon Barrett; sisters, Jackie Merrill and Trisha (Dusty) Hirsch; nephews, Kaden Merrill and Jackson Hirsch.  He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Edlund; grandparents, Carl and Joyce Edlund and Robert and Arvilla Murray; his aunt, Karen Murray; brother, Jace Edlund, and brother-in-law, Craig Werner.

A celebration of life will take place Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Deadwood Mountain Grand, Deadwood, SD.  Jace's will be from 11-12 with Josh's following at 12:30.
