Belle Fourche - Judith M. "Judy" Stetter, 78 of Belle Fourche passed away January 12, 2012 at the Spearfish Regional Hospital. She was born on February 18, 1933 In Faulkton, South Dakota to Harold and Amy Johnson. She moved with her family to California and from there to Belle Fourche, South Dakota. She graduated from Belle Fourche High School in 1950 and after graduating she fell in love and married Walter Stetter. Judy was a hardworking ranch wife for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent 62 years building a life with Walt Stetter. Survivors include her husband, Walter S. Stetter, Belle Fourche; three daughters, Sherrill (Bob) Bermes, Billings, MT, Stacy (Doug) Packard, Brighton, CO and Shelley Stetter, Belle Fourche; one brother, Don Johnson, TX; one sister, Carol Murphy, CA; two grandsons, Harry Hamilton and Brian Webster; three granddaughters, Valerie Brown, Ashlee Bermes, and Marcia Martinez; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Upon her request cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. A memorial has been established and may be directed to Black Hills Funeral Home, 1440 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785.
