Obituary

GILLETTE | Julie Ahna Irwin, 52, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Denver, Colorado. She served in the United States Army from 1987 to 1995 as an Air Traffic Controller. Julie is survived by her husband, Todd; mother, Janet (John) Dale; birth father, Defydd Innes; daughter, Hailey Irwin; son, Zane Irwin; brothers, Don (Angie) Yates, Erik (Julie) Innes, Mr. & Mrs. Seamus Innes, Mr. & Mrs. Kirk Innes; sisters, Wendy Nobles, Susan (Curtis) Doman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Shirley Kline; sister-in-law, Brenda (Glen) Hurd; nieces, Ashley Nobles, Michaela and Michelle Yates, and Kayla Hurd. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Yates; birth mother, Linnea Booker; and father-in-law, John Irwin. The family would like to extend an invitation to join them for her Celebration of Life at the American Legion located at 200 Rockpile Boulevard in Gillette, WY on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m on Monday, January 19, 2015 with Reverend Jeff Otterman officiating at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD. We will be leaving by funeral procession from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Military Honors will be provided by the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Army.
