Junior Lee Colvin was born October 19, 1925, to Robert and Florence Colvin in Brlé County, South Dakota. Junior was married to Elizabeth June January 2, 1948.

Junior Lee, 92, Lead, died April 4, 2018, at the David M. Dorsett Nursing Facility in Spearfish, SD.

Survivors include three children, Diana (Tom) Regan, Lead, SD, Nancy (Chuck) Gruba, Piedmont, SD, and Monty (Debbie) Colvin, Vermillion, SD; five grandchildren, Michelle Feiszli, Jay Gruba, Serena Colvin, Jennifer Hamilton, and Ryan Gruba ; ten great-grandchildren; longtime companion, Shirley Busk; and best friend, Dale Burrer.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, June; his parents; brothers, Mike Colvin and Bun Colvin; and sisters, Loretta Crawford and Betty Harper.

Funeral services will be conducted at Kinkade Funeral Chapel at 1235 Junction Avenue, Sturgis, SD, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Father Tom Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the continued support of the Bridgewater Cemetery in Bridgewater, SD, where many of the Colvin family is buried.
