Junior VanCleave 85 of Newcastle passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Weston County Manor after a brief illness. A memorial will be 2:00pm Monday May 9, 2011 at the Weston County Senior Center in Newcastle, WY 627 Pine St. Junior was born June 21, 1925 in Cozad, NE to Floyd and Ellen VanCleave. He graduated from Cozad High School in 1943. He married Evelyn Buckley and to this union 2 children were born. In 1981 he married Rose (Pollat) Ward. They lived and worked at various jobs in various states, moving to Newcastle in 1992. He is survived by his wife Rose, daughter Connie Rossiter and husband Larkin from Rio Rico, AZ, son Carroll VanCleave and wife Ann from Norwood, NJ, and 5 step-children Donna and Maynard Rome from Denver, CO, David and Cathy Julius from Douglas, WY, Charles and Juanita Julius from Penrose, CO, Melissa Ward from Newcastle, and Casey Ward From Aloha, OR, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, brother, and grandson.
