Karen Kay Esienbraun, 71, Sturgis, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with Fr. Tyler Dennis officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Scotty Phillips Cemetery near Fort Pierre, SD.

A memorial has been established.

Karen was born April 12, 1942 at Cripple Creek, CO, to Lloyd and Ruby (Board) Vetos. She grew up in Fort Pierre. She graduated from Cosmetology school in Denver, CO in the mid 60's.

She married Delbert Eisenbraun at Wall, SD, on July 20, 1996. They lived at Wall and moved to Sturgis in 2009.

Karen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and her cat Sammy. She especially loved her great grandchildren.

Family includes her husband Delbert, that never stopped loving her, Sturgis; one son John (Kim) Lass, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Cindy (Robert) Dennis, Red Owl, SD; brothers, Doug (Janet) Vetos, Diamondville, WY, Cork Vetos, Kemmerer, WY, Sam (Cindy) Vetos, Kemmerer, WY, Paul (Linette) Vetos, Missoula, MT; also six Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew.
