Katherine Ann Faison (Dick) Known fondly as Tootsie, passed away on April 3, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends at Hospice of the Hills. She was 74. Kathy and her husband lived in many places but always considered Rapid City their home. Kathy worked at the Community Health Center in the past and was currently a volunteer at Rapid City Regional Hospital and was a member of the cathedral Community Clergy with her friend Nancy Coleman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years Chuck Faison; her sisters, Delray Dick Marston and Dorothy Dick Goss. She is survived by her 4 Children, Teri Larabel (Chris) of Alpine, TX, Tracy Obert of Gillette, WY, Scott Faison of Virginia Beach, & Julie Martinez of Rapid City; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren with another due on April 20; her brother, James Dick of Piedmont; her beloved dog Pete; brother-in-law Vern Marston; many nieces, nephews and in-laws, and her friends Nancy, Francie and many more. Her Generosity of Spirit came thru in her smile and her kindness was felt by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The rosary will be held on Monday April 13, at 6 pm. The Funeral Mass at 11 am on Tuesday the 14th followed by the internment at Black Hills National Cemetery where she will rest in peace with her husband. The family asks that you make donations to Catholic Social Services of Rapid City in lieu of flowers.

Now Mom is walking in Heaven with the Lord and those she loved.
