Kathleen June Johnson, was born May 29, 1953, in Deadwood, South Dakota, to Richard and Billie June (Fillmore) Bradshaw. As her father was in the mining business, the family lived in various locations around the United States during her childhood. She later attended high school in Spearfish, SD.

After high school, Kathy moved to Arizona, residing in Tempe, where she played guitar and sang in night clubs for a number of years. She was an avid rock hound, buying and selling rocks and gems. Kathy had also worked for some years as a bookkeeper in a machine shop. She met Ron Johnson in the mid-1990's, and they became inseparable.

She and Ron moved to South Dakota in the late 1990's, later marrying on February 11, 2006. Besides playing her guitar and singing, Kathy (known to Ron as "Silver") also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathleen, 62, of Spearfish, SD, passed away January 12, 2016 at Rapid City Regional Hospice House

Survivors include her husband, Ron; her mother, Billie June Fillmore of Spearfish; son, Clayton of Hermosa, SD; brother, Mike Bradshaw of Rapid City, SD; sister, Callie Jean Thompson of Phoenix, AZ; 2 grandchildren, Isaac and Talon Bradshaw; step-daughter, Denisha Lawrence, of Putney, VT; step grandchildren, Amanda, Rebecca and Adriene; and 2 step great grandchildren, Marley and Harper; nieces and nephews, Jamie and Jason Thompson and Mike and Michaela Bradshaw, and other extended family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Richard Bradshaw; and brother, Patrick Bradshaw.

Memorial services will be held this summer at the Fillmore Lodge and family cemetery.
