Kathleen Michele Miner was born April 20, 1944, to John and Wilma (Winkler) Peak in Washington, DC.

Kathleen, 72, Black Hawk, SD, died peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Virgle Miner; daughters, Dawn Miner and Heidi Fontana; her grandchildren, Savannah Hill, Michael Fontana, and Jakob Fontana; and her great-grandchildren, Arizona and Brookelynn Hill and Lydia Fontana.

Memorial services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harold Delbridge officiating. Inurnment will be at the Piedmont Cemetery.
