Kate Jensen, 57, passed away July 2nd, 2015 at Weston County Health Services in Newcastle, Wy. She is survived by her husband, Warren Jensen (Newcastle), daughter Christa Jensen (Seattle, WA), Son J.L. Jensen (Spearfish, SD), Grandson Riddick Jensen (Spearfish, SD), parents Daisy & Lyle Baumeister (Spearfish, SD) and brother Ken Baumeister (Spearfish, SD), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, in-laws and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her infectious laughter and smile.

Kate worked for Weston County Health Services and as a home health caregiver. She loved working in her garden, reading in the sunshine, camping with her family and going on "adventures" with her husband.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday July 8, 2015 2:00 pm at the Sand Creek camping area near Beulah, Wy. Signs will be in place to direct those who would like to attend.

Memorial donations can be made to any cause which was dear to Kate, animal advocacy, mental health care, substance abuse and Christian ministry were all causes to which Kate was devoted and contributed to. She was the sponsor of a child through World Vision for many years.
