Keith R. Harrison was born in Mobridge, SD, on August 20, 1940. He graduated from Mobridge High School in 1958. He went to work for Bell Telephone and later worked at the JC Penney store in Mobridge.

Keith married Marilyn Monthye on January 5, 1963. The couple moved to Deadwood in 1972 where Keith managed the JC Penney store and later purchased the local Hardware Hank.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, Deadwood; two daughters, Kelly (Dennis) Silvernail of Deadwood and Kerri Harrison of Central City; one son, Jay (Renee) Harrison of Whitewood; two sisters, Karen (Bob) Berg of Black Hawk and Catherine Carrigan of California; his mother, Madge Harrison of Rapid City; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Keith enjoyed restoring old cars and spending time with his family and friends.

He passed away in Deadwood, SD, on June 16, 2013, after a two year battle with cancer.

He will be remembered most for his willingness to always help someone in need.

Services will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Lead with Pastor Tom Stenzel officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery near Deadwood.
