Kelle Marysa Cooper left this world on September 21, 2022. in Sturgis, South Dakota. Kelle was born August 6, 1989. in Rapid City, South Dakota in the back of a Ford Bronco, enroute to the Hospital (impatient from the start).

She is survived by two beautiful daughters, Eekiah and Rowan; her mother, Tracy Myers; father, John Cooper (Jackie); and siblings, Myrl Williamson, Jena Cooper (Sean Edlund), and Miles Cooper.  She was a proud and loving aunt to her niece and nephews, Levi, Tianna, Antonio, Dax, and Theo.

Among the many that knew and loved Kelle, she has left behind many close friends that were like sisters including Angie Flagler, Emily Meyer, Valerie Prudich, and Lisa Simmons.

Kelle was creative, funny and hard working. She had the quiet kind of magnetism that would draw anyone to her and keep them entertained with dry jokes and deep insights. She was a friend, an artist, and above all a devoted mother who loved her daughters with every fiber of her being.

After a long-fraught battle against mental illness, anxiety, depression, and subsequent self-medication, these last two years took a turn for the worst, and we began to lose the beautiful human being we all loved. Kelle lost her fight against addiction and mental health issues when she died after an overdose.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD.
