Kenna was born on February 19, 1965 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and died on Friday, August 7, 2015 in Rapid City, South Dakota from a heart attack. She was the daughter of Reverend Kenneth and Mildred Charter, and grew up in various places such as Barnsdall and Bluejacket, Oklahoma. After graduating from Bluejacket high school in 1983, she worked at the Ford Dealership in Vinita, OK. She went on to work as a medical transcriptionist at the General Hospital in Miami, OK, and later started her own company in that same field for various hospitals in Northeast Oklahoma. Kenna married in 1983, and gave birth to a son, Brett Speers in 1985. After her divorce and many years later, she met the love of her life, Richard Foote, and they married in 2008. They resided in Fair Grove, Missouri for the last 4 years. She is preceded in death by her father, Reverend Kenneth Charter. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Charter of Oklahoma; her husband, Richard, of Missouri; her son, Brett Speers and partner Sierra Shrum of Oklahoma; her step-son, Joshua Roark of Louisiana; her step-son Derek Roark and partner Janatha Anderson of Oklahoma; granddaughters Natalie, Brooklyn and Heidi; her brother, Bruce Charter of Oklahoma; and aunts, uncles, cousins, a host of nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. She was a woman of faith, and devoted her life to helping others. She was a pure joy to be around; a true friend. She is so much more than these few paragraphs can portray.
