Kenny was born in Newell, SD, on August 5, 1936, to Andrew Dale and Philomena Agnes (Aschenbrenner) Harman. He graduated from Newell High School.
In 1958, Kenny married June Graesser. Together, they had one son, Randall Dale Harman. On November 21, 1971, Kenny married Pamela Joy (Johnson) Anderson. Through his marriage to Pam, he gained two children, Gina Ann (Anderson) Haiwick and Marva Jo (Anderson) Davis. Together, he and Pam were blessed with two more children, Kenneth Dale Harman and Andrew Dale Harman.
Kenny lived in Gillette, WY, until 1980. He then lived in Newell, working off and on as a ranch hand. He later retired to Sturgis in January of 2011. He loved hunting, watching westerns with Pam, checking out pawn shops, and telling colorful stories!
Kenneth "Kenny" Dale John Harman, 82, of Whitewood, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Spearfish Canyon Healthcare.
He is survived by sons, Randall Dale (Patty) Harman, Kenneth Dale (Brenda) Harman, and Andrew Dale (April) Harman; daughters, Gina Ann (Robert) Haiwick and Marva Jo Davis; fourteen grandchildren, Lisa Rose Harman, Ashley Ann McNeese, Andrea Rose Stark, Alyssa Pearl Loll, Kaelob Riley Orr, Jhett Anthony Davis, Baylee Arcola Davis, Kaitlynn Marie Harman, Elizabeth Ellen Allen, Michael Dale Harman, Matthew Dale Harman, Chance Bueno, Vance Wyatt Harman, and Kasidi Dayle Harman; and ten great-grandchildren.
Kenny was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela; granddaughter, Tracy Marie Harman; first wife, June Bonebreak; and his parents, Andrew Dale Harman and Philomena Agnes Crago.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the Whitewood Cemetery.
