Kevin Alan Mailloux was born on February 12, 1959, to Alan and Joyce (Hiam) Mailloux in Valley City, North Dakota.

Kevin was a longtime resident of Rapid City and Box Elder. His outgoing personality allowed him to make friends readily and his generosity and sincerity ensured he kept them. Kevin enjoyed reading, gaming, fishing, and sports among other things.

Kevin was born in North Dakota, but lived in the San Francisco Bay area and often spoke of the majestic beauty and wonderful music of that area. He was an avid supporter of the S.F. Giants and the S.F. 49'ers. Kevin left home at age 16 and never looked back. He was attracted to the Sturgis/Rapid City area by the Sturgis Rally but was seriously injured in an accident which kept him in the local area. He met his soulmate, Kari King, in 2013, and was welcomed into the King family. Kevin also held deep religious beliefs and as we mourn his death-We Praise God knowing he will be judged by a merciful God who knows Kevin well.

Kevin, 59, of Box Elder, SD, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2018, due to heart failure.

Kevin is survived by Kari King; sisters, Marsha, Michelle, and Jackey; and his brothers, Joseph and Jeffery.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alan and Joyce; his daughter, Sunshine; and his special friend of 15 years, Mary Ann Tremble.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Sturgis with Father Bunker Hill officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
